Software Development Contracts with AgBe

We believe in and encourages transparency and clear agreement when we get into any engagement with our clients. We advocate and agree on the contract type based on client needs. Here are the three contract types our customers typically sign with us:

  • Fixed Price Contract (FP)
    • If the scope is well-defined and requirements are well articulated by customers, we can get into a fixed price contract. We will quote the exact time and fixed cost for the given scope. We also agree on certain risks associated with an FP project like delays in requirement sign off or delay in delivery. Anything that is not covered in signed off the scope, gets treated as a change request (CR) and estimated/planned as a separate agreement. We also clearly articulate and agree on specific SLAs and support terms associated with FP projects with our clients. The quality and delivery timeline are completely owned by AgBe in FP projects.
  • Time and Material Contract (T&M)
    • AgBe can provide the required skillset on a Time & Material basis. T&M contracts are good when the client is not very sure about the scope and wants to keep it flexible. We will assign the fixed capacity for a customer project and customers can define and drive the scope as it evolves. Quality and delivery timeline are completely owned by clients in T&M projects.
  • Managed Service Retainer Contract (MSR)
    • We agree on a managed service model when the scope is broadly known but may not be precisely defined. Moreover, customers would want us to manage the delivery of the project as well. In this type of contract, we agree on a fixed cost of the project per month. The scope is defined and mutually agreed with customers for every sprint and delivery is fully managed by AgBe in terms of quality and timelines.

In all these contracts, we use the agile methodology of project lifecycle management and use collaboration tools to bring transparency for our customers.
